Karl Gustel Wärnberg är chefredaktör för Fighter Magazine. Han började följa MMA när han var 10 år, då han först såg Rallarsving på TV och började följa Pride FC med sina äldre killkusiner. Innan dess utövade han judo, har testat capoeira, fäktning, jiu-jitsu, och Muay Thai. Han har tävlat i tyngdlyftning och spelade ishockey i 10 år. På senare år har han tränat boxning, framförallt i en av Londons mest anrika klubbar: Fitzroy Lodge.

Den 14 april 2024 markerar en betydelsefull milstolpe i UFCs historia då vi bjuds på en gala fylld till bristningsgränsen med stjärnor från topp till botten. Spektaklet kröns av tre titelmatcher: I huvudmatchen siktar Jamahal Hill på att återta titeln i lätt tungvikt från den nuvarande mästaren, Alex Pereira; i stråvikt möter Mästarinnan Zhang Weili sin landsman Yan Xiaonan; och Justin Gaethje möter Max Holloway i en kamp om BMF-titeln. 

Men, som om det inte räcker så bjuder UFC även på matcher med tidigare UFC-mästare som Charles Oliveira, Aljamain Sterling, Holly Holm, Cody Garbrandt, Deiveson Figueiredo och garnerar med namn som Bo Nickal, Kayla Harrison, Jim Miller och Bobby Green. Vilken fest! Och här kommer försnacket.

A markedly different atmosphere met fights fans at The O2 as the UFC once again graced London. Last time was a title fight. Fans flocked around retired fighters and merchandise was on display everywhere. This time hen dos and office parties dominated the O2. Nevertheless, on the octagonal canvass some beautiful fighting was on display.
