SMMAFs bedömningskommitté, med ansvar för protestbehandling, har mottagit en protest gällande MMA-matchen mellan Bruno Carvalho och Marius Zaromskis på Rumble of the Kings på Hovet i Stockholm den 26 november. Beslutet från bedömningskommittén offentliggörs senast den 11 december.
Kommentar från George Sallfeldt, Ordförande SMMAF:
“I have promptly, this day, sent this protest to the chairman of the SMMAF Assessment Committee. The SMMAF Assessment Committee has a processing period of two weeks from the day of receipt of the protest.”
“As always the documentation from the Assessment Committee will contain both an argumentation for their ruling as well as the communication between the protesting party and SMMAF.” “The federation believes that it is important to be open and transparent in these cases since many people are interested in and have opinions about the rulings.”
