Today i signed up for my first Pro MMA fight (actually my first MMA fight ever), it’s a big step for me and I see it as a challenge for myself to test myself against a professional fighter that is preparing for the fight. It’ll be a hard challenge no matter who my opponent will be and the only thing I can do is prepare as much as possible and as professional as possible to give myself the best chance I can to win the fight.
I know there is some questions if I can readjust to the rules of MMA and the answer is yes. If I fight under MMA rules then I’ll fight under MMA rules, it’s a great sport and if I have to cheat the rules… then my opponent is better than me… it’s as simple as that.

It is 2 different styles with 2 different mindsets, I will take a lot of my Krav Maga techniques away since they are illegal in a MMA fight, this means that it’s a different thing all together. Both styles are fighting but they’re different in mindset and rules. Let’s take the kick to the groin, in a Krav Maga oriented fight that is the first kick I’d use, in the cage it’s illegal. Any one saying anything else… well that’s up to them. I’ve been in Krav Maga since 1994 now and I tried shootfighting the first time in 1998, so I know what I’m talking about here.
I’ll prepare like a sportsman and fight under sport rules, really looking forward to it.
I’ll represent Gladius MMA in the fight and that’s also the academy where I’ll prepare for the figh. With a team like August Wallén, Alexander Gustafsson, Besam Yousef, Anton Mattson, Eddy Bengtsson, Elina Nilsson and all the others at Gladius MMA behind me I’ll be well prepared to say the least!
Next week I’ll be in the US teaching 3 Krav Maga Seminar, 1 shooting seminar, 1 Hardstyle Kettlebell Certification, 1 Primal Move Fundamentals Instructor Course and do some Krav Maga instructor training, all in ......
