21. INTERVIEW WITH PETER BALTES
1. How old have you been, when you seriously started to PLAY AN INSTRUMENT?
Peter: I believe I was about 13 Years old.
2. Why did you start learning an instrument and did somebody inspire you?
Peter: By best friends brother had a broken acoustic guitar. We glued it back together and both practiced every day to learn how to play it. We were very competitive and always try to be better that the other.
3. Where did you perform the very first time?
Peter: My first Concert was at a Bank. It was my Friend and me, both playing Guitar, plus a Quire of 30 Girls. We were performing the Musical Hair. I actually had a Solo Part singing Let it be from the Beatles.
4. When did you BELIEVE that you have a serious profession?
Peter: I believe when we met our Manager Gaby Hoffmann. Up to that point we where just some talented Kids making Music. But she made us believe that we could conquer the world if we would work hard enough. Looks like she was right…
5. How did you find out that you are “famous”?
Peter: My mom started collecting Newspaper Articles and Magazines. After a while she had to store them in a Plastic Container. I remember her saying: I guess you are famous now….that's how I found out.

1. How old have you been, when you seriously started to PLAY AN
INSTRUMENT?
Stefan: I was 14 years old when I started playing Drums seriously.
2. Why did you start learning an instrument and did somebody inspire you?
Stefan: I start playing Drums because of my father, he`s a Drummer too.
This type of instrument made sence to me from the very first momentand end of the day it fits perfect to me and my feelings.
3. Where did you perform the very first time?
Stefan: In a YMCA-Club in my hometown with a band called “Born Loosers”.
4. When did you BELIEVE that you have a serious profession?
Stefan: In the middle of the 80`s.My first professional gig was back in 1987 with the German Heavy Metal Band “Running Wild”.
5. How did you find out that you are “famous”?
Stefan: When I saw my first records I did in some stores in different towns and countries.This is still such a great feeling!

Hermann: When fans asked me for my autograph and my mother came running with a story about me in Bravo – the biggest youth mag in Germany.
